这是一首节奏略微舒缓的游击队行进歌曲。创作于二战时期，描述一只意大利反法西斯的左翼军事组织-Partisan 成员们奔赴战场视死如归的场景。
此曲旋律优美，歌词动人，并以前南斯拉夫电影“桥”的主题曲《啊，朋友再见》的形式为中国观众所熟知。
