原理解释

ADSL是利用电话线的闲置带宽传送调制信号的。过滤器就是将该信号与普通电话语音信号分离开的。没装的话就会导致电话影响上网，装到modem线路上就会不能上网，因为网络信号被过滤器过滤调掉了。

线路质量好坏对ADSL的影响本来就是一个致命问题, 普通电话从BELL到你家都是很便宜的两根铜线而已, 没有屏蔽, 如果房子年份久了电线外皮老化, 或者老鼠啃两下, 或者附近有什么电器产生巨大电气干扰, 都会使得ADSL速度不稳, 时好时断, 没得救

有线电视本来就是屏蔽的同轴电缆, 而且从主干分配器到家里通常只有几十米, 相对稳定一点, 不过并联式会有速度打架的致命问题, 就是说如果你的所有邻居都是CABLE上网, 大家一起用, 速度就不行了, 不过不至于掉线

for me, cheaper is better, so both Bell and Rogers are not good at all
