I think this is common in north america. I broke my arm in us, and the plaster they put on was so loose, that my arm got twisted. So I kept on making appt with them, but every time they said it's healing well. Then about two months later, I met a doctor from North Korea, he had to broke my arm again, and reconnected it, then re-plaster it. I don't what would my arm be like today if I did not hit a North Korea doctor by chance.
But one thing in big difference, the staff in a us hospital are very very nice to you, both doctors and nurses. And I could not speak English well at that time. Really have no idea why some Canadian nurses act like that. The author really should file a formal complain on this, especially on nurse's attitude, as it is something regarding discrimination!
