I don't know, but what I would do is re-install my entire windows if reinstalling IE doesn't work
And if it still doesn't work, I would format my drive and then re-install my windows

Reinstalling IE is exactly what I wanted to do. But there doesn't seem any IE installation file available. All I could find is some IE service packs. Just formated hard drive two weeks ago. Wouldn't  consider doing it again. Thanks for your suggestions anyway.

Here's what you can do. Go get an AOL somewhere, and install it, it has a IE 5.5, I think, but it may not solve your problem because it's probably dependent on the original IE. Or, check the CD that has your drivers on it, I have an IE6 on my modem's driver CD Rom, just try to find one, if you can't get any, try get some registry that's similar to yours, but with a working IE, or just try to change it yourself. But I don't recommend to do that, though

Run a virus search/ try to fix the registry which I think is the reason why your IE's not working properly, or just save everything you need, and reinstall your windows, that should work.

Thanks for still being with me. There's no virus on my computer. I quite agree with you that changing the registry would work. I just don't know how. I looked at the registry about IE and couldn't find which key is relevant. I believe the malfunction of copy&paste was caused by some malicious websites by making change about the registry. Reinstalling Windows could solve the problem, I agree. But it's the last thing I'd like to do, too time comsuming, not quite worthwhile. It won't affect much anyway.
