我都等了两天了，还没给约好，有没有哪个产科医生可以自己约的？我拿家庭医生的推荐信自己去约行吗？
或者找midwife给约行吗？

It won't be long because the specialist needs to check you from a certain time. My family doctor only took 2 weeks to make an appointment for me. I think I was 3 and half months pregnant , I started to see the specialist. Better let your family doctor make appointment for you because the specialist needs a lot of the documents from your family doctor. If you never had pat test ( it is a kind test that they need to get virginal samples to make sure you don't have cancer.), I suggest you don't have it during your pregnancy. I lost my first baby after I had this test 1day. You can have it done after giving birth 6 weeks. After the birth, you have to have it checked by your family doctor once a year. Please don't do it when you are pregnant. I guess your family doctor will ask you to do so. Just tell him that you would rather wait after the birth.
By the way, please don't only go with the midwife. I know a lady who is living in orangeville. She only sees midwife during her pregnancy. Her son was born as multiple handicap. If she had a specialist with her, she may could find out at her early pregnancy.
