A wonderful piece I heard  recently.  

Giorgia’s voice is gorgeous . Giorgia is an Italian- Canadian soprano and a cross-over singer who is ranked in the same category as Enya, Sarah Brightman, and Andrea Bocelli. Her singing career is still rather fresh with the  first album released in 2004.

Classically trained since childhood,  Otten’s voice surprisingly did not break as thoroughly as usual upon reaching adolescence, therefore retaining a high contralto range.

It’s  magnificant , it’s beautiful, it’s divine.

I searched some information about Giorgia Fumanti. She is a recently active singer who is famous worldwide. Jan. 18, 2008, she sang with Chinese singer Wei Wei in Vancouver, Canada. This performance was Broadcasted to an estimated audience of over 1 billion people.

Her voice is very beautiful with extreme lucidity, clearness and powerful penetrating force. Good music.

About Thomas Otten, there is something amazing. He used to be a biologist. He abandoned that career and became a famous singer. Fabulous! I think the most specific aspect of his voice is higher frequencies. The higher-pitch voice makes him special and outstanding amongst the singers all over the world. Fantastic though.

While driving , this beautiful sound flowed through me. I couldn’t wait to post it as soon as I went home.

G Fumanti sounds like a song bird.

On the other hand, I am not a fan of Sarah Brightman at all eventhough some of her songs are not too bad,  and G Fumanti sounds very similar, with a bit of ‘halo effect’ of Espiritu, Fumanti seems to impress me  much more.

I googled a little too, but wasn’t  quite sure if anyone else here would like her song as much as I do , I then did not bother writing too much about her. Thanks  for adding on what you know. Feel free to post  other songs of hers if you find pieces that  you like. If ever I get around to it, I shall do that too.

I think what usually attracts me most to a piece of music is how it can charm in the first instance, obviously that includes many qualities : melody, voice, background music etc…

I can be a good listener, but not exactly an expert in analyzing music, depends on how much I do like a tune. And therefore , 海船长's presence is indispensable, and much appreciated . Thanks again. With your enthusiasm, no one would want to dismiss herself  from sharing music with you.

Wow. Peace of Heaven. I would like to say Giorgia's voice is really the heavenly voice. You are right, her voice is different from Sarah B's. And I love Giorgia's performing style more, because she is singing with her whole body, whole heart and whole spirit. She appears like a graceful Princess. That's not easy. On the other hand, Sarah B always performs as a fairy lady or a witch-wise woman, revealing a sense of mystery, though. When we compare their voices per se, I would like to say that Giorgia's voice is brighter and richer than Sarah B's.

I love this piece very much. This tune needs a broader band of voice frequency. But Giorgia did so well. Fantastic.

<Your Love ( Theme from Once Upon a Time in the West )> deserves honourable   respect after listening to it with great attention. There is a version with excellent sound  quality as you open her website

She shows a strikingly high vocal range and dynamics in a dramatic arrangement.
