Here was what I said "From what I see, you simply hate the system. Then I do not understand why you still love the country and fight for the BIG CHANGE (in your case a REVOLUTION).
You are an immigrant, this is not your home country. If you hate it, go somewhere else."
If you quote someone, at least quote exactly not part of it.
You have every right to stay. I just expressed wonderness why you hate the system but fight for a revolution (which would never happen) in a country where is not even your home country. Your root is not here, it's difficult for regular people to understand.
I think the system has a lot to be improved (for different reasons as yours ). The fundamental difference between you and me is that I believe this is the best (not perfect) system in the world.

The system was the best, but this system is deteriorating on its way to collapse, I don't think it can be saved.
The democracy has been reduced to money-controlled mechanism from constituents-controlled one. Regardless who or which party in power, they all have to play the same game by the same play book. That's why we see today people are so disenfranchised and they don't even bother to vote in the system. The voter turn-out rates keep dropping almost in all western country.
The occupy movement is a clear sign that people, first the young people, realized that change-player-but-play-the same-game won't work any more. They require real change with substance from the system, not Obama's hollow change slogan. Don't you figure out anything at the fact the occupy movement has swept over 900 cities and regions all over the world? How can anybody possibly dismiss it?
Of course, there are always some people would dismiss the undismissible, like the 1% or some from the 99% but failed to spot the signal given by occupy movement.
I believe the occupy movement is the beginning of a non-violence revolution that would change the rule of the world is run. Given it some time, we'll see what comes out. No quick fix here. |
