说得对,这种事从来都是民不举,官不究。但严格执法的话,不是房客的无房可住的问题,而是不知有多少屋主因交不起房贷而卖房或被银行拍卖的问题。因此,房东与房客是互相帮助的关系。

There are hundred and thousands reasons to prove there is huge market for rooming house.

很多还是一家人住的。话说回来,你要人去住一个月7-800的公寓,很多人也是承担
不起的。也是有这个需要,只是别搞得太狠了

话分两头。

你去各大华人超市餐馆看看,有多少人是拿10块左右每小时的工资的。这部分人是付不起$800+/月的公寓房租的。特别是单身人士,在没有找到3K+每月的收入之前,极少数人愿意单独承担公寓房租,还有上网电视之类的开支呢。

你以为市政府不知道分租屋? DOWNTOWN 和 士嘉宝, 各大专院校附近的房子没一条街没有分租屋的,问题是如果政府真的要根除分租屋,那么付不起公寓房租(至少800/月)的人怎么办?

到时候突然间数以万计的住客沦落街头,执政府得拿出多少钱来付廉租屋? 到时候钱不够,还不是拿纳税人开刀!你愿意不?

分租屋本来就是市政府睁只眼闭只眼的事情,只要不要太过分造成安全隐患和影响邻居就是了。
