我家刚买这个房子时，邻居就说让我们把苹果树和玉兰树都砍了，不然总是一些苹果掉在他们院子里，秋天他们还要收树叶。我们就没舍得，虽然不喜欢那种酸甜的苹果，但每年看着它还有玉兰花很喜欢，后来我们就把伸向邻居的树枝都锯掉了，这样也就解决了。

收费一般回根据树的高度和要处理的直径来计算收费，过高过粗的需要动用重型设备吊运，收费就不会便宜，而且是专业工作，人工费用也相当高。

情是一回事，理（法）是一回事。他即便这样push，我也会和他好好说、还好商量的。多谢！

邻居的Property Manager今早的回复：

Thatinformation is from the city. The branches from your tree are larger than6" in diameter and they are still attached to the tree. I am not going toargue with you any longer. If the hazardous broken branches are not removed byMonday my instructions are to have the work done and commence legal action tocollect the costs.

再请教：我园子树上的半断枝仍然悬挂在邻居园子的上空，尚未落下，这是谁负责？

还有一个问题：私家后院的树到底是谁的财产？房主的？还是政府或国家的？谁应该为这树负责？房主对树的砍伐是有种种限制的，好像不能说树是房主的财产。
