琴键上的舞蹈

舞蹈和歌唱一样，是心灵的一扇窗，只是通过肢体的语言来表达音乐的内涵，最终舞的是文化，体现个人的综合素质。舞蹈是能够完全宣泄情绪的最嘉方式。偶然关注起这一季的舞蹈比赛，看到选手每次的进步， 我的内心就和评委一样的感动。我爱这些评判，他们很感性，丝毫不掩饰内心的感动，他们的评判非常专业和客观。 最终比赛的结果包含综合的因素：搭档，题材，二度创作。 比赛的难度系数很高，要求每个选手在一个星期之内适应不同的搭档和不同种类的舞蹈。 选手经历的我都曾经历过，评委任何的评判规则和方式我都是很熟悉的（因为我也曾是评委）。 很有共鸣，所以单开一贴吧， 就象每首令我感动的音乐一样， 把我欣赏的舞蹈作为一个合集与大家分享。。。

Melissa Sandvig/Ade Abayomi -- Romeo and Juliet

The dance is based on Romeo and Juliet, very slow and tender. Despite Melissa being a trained ballerina, this was my least favorite of all their routines so far.  Ade wasn’t a match for Melissa on this one.  Nigel says, “Who would have believed we would be doing classical ballet…Melissa that was beautifully danced, Ade,  your feet could be better, but your carriage was beautiful.” Nigel boasts that there’s nothing else like SYTYCD on TV with it’s variety of styles. Mary says, “I just loved it, it was really beautiful, the chemistry was flawless…Melissa it was great to see you in your style, you make it look so easy…you put me in a dreamlike state.” Mia says, “I am so excited to be celebrating classical dance on this show…ballet solidifies technique…I’m so excited…I love that it’s a black and white Romeo and Juliet..it was a fairytale…Melissa you are a true ballerina."

Jeanine and Jason- Contemporary by Travis Wall to “If It Kills Me” (The Casa Nova Sessions) by Jason Mraz - Travis was a contestant in Season 2. - The story is about a couple, and the girl can’t quite commit yet.  A beautiful, sensual work. It’s obvious Phillip was holding her back. Jason has stepped it up this week. All the judges stand for an ovation. I think they like it! Nigel is so proud to have SYTYCD produce a fine choreographer.  Jeanine and Jason both became stars tonight, says Nigel. Mary is lost for words. Nigel can’t believe it. “You two are starrrs” she says. She gets teary talking about Travis. Then, Mary puts them both on the train. Debbie babbles on about evangelizing dance and calls them a magical pairing.

Ade and Melissa Contemporary Top 8

Melissa and Ade - Contemporary by Tyce DiOrio - “A Woman’s Work” by Maxwell - The piece is about a woman with breast cancer. Uh oh, this will be hard to criticize! And it improves both dancers chances of being safe this week, no matter what they do on the dance floor. Having said that, it is a beautiful routine, and they dance it beautiful. It’s Melissa and her lines and Ade and his strenghth. The routine has the judges panel in tears. Nigel says he loves dance because it can express so many emotions without the use of words. “Where do you get strength to do apiece lke this?” He expects the routine to be emmy nominated. Ellen does not make any jokes. Mary’s makeup is streaked. “I’ll never forget it” she says. Vertical lift was effortless. You flew right into his arms–full trust. Mia? Also crying. No–sobbing. “what an important piece of work,” she says. Her dad died of cancer.
