Good high schools in Toronto/York?

Hi,

Could you recommend some good high schools in GTA area? I'm trying to choose a school for my son.

My criteria to choose a 'good high school' is similar to that of  most Chinese parents, i.e. by studying in that school, my kid will have a greater chance to be admitted into a popular university.

Yes, I've checked 51's list of 大多伦多高中前十佳排行榜, but some people say it's quite old a ranking. Besides, there must be some other 'good' schools that are not in that list.

heard that high schools in Unionville are pretty good. tha's why houses in this town are so expensive.

Below is the list I copied from 51's '子女教育'. Unionville High School is in the list.

1、Richmond Hill H.S.
2、R.H. King Academy
3、The Woodlands S.S.
4、Ursula Franklin Academy
5、Langstaff S.S.
6、Georges Vanier S.S.
7、Unionville H.S.
8、Woburn C.I.
9、Heart Lake S.S.

Any other good schools that are not in this list ?

Actually I'm looking for a house to buy, but you are correct. Houses around those so-called 'good schools' are so expensive that they seem out of my reach.

IT’S POSSIBLE TO FIND A REASONABLLY PRICED HOUSE IN UNIONVILLE. I CAN INTRODUCE
